Okay, so I may or may not have been tagged by my cousin Kim (I tend to think not, but one never knows if "Jen" is referring to me or somebody else), but I said I'd do this anyway. Cause I'm cool like that. Or rather annoying, but take your pick (just don't tell me which).
Here's the idea: Write 7 things about yourself that people may or may not already know. Then tag 7 others and have them do the same thing (cross posted to my more frequently used LJ).
#1- I am horrible at keeping house. I leave stuff laying around and don't put things away before I get something new out (unless it's food). But even though my house is cluttered, I absolutely can not stand to leave my shoes by the door. I always put them away when I take them off.
#2- I played the viola for 9 years. From 10-19. I played in a youth symphony for a couple of years in high school and my biggest dream (at 17) was to play in a live orchestra pit on Broadway. I stopped playing while I was at college. I did try to join a community symphony a few years ago and successfully made it through one season, but I haven't pulled my viola out of the closet in over 2 years.
#3- I couldn't sleep in my own bed for an entire night until I was almost 10, and I was still afraid of the dark way into my late teens. Now I don't sleep well unless it's pitch black in my room. I still hate sleeping alone though.
#4- I'm currently in love with two cd's: Mika- Life in Cartoon Motion and Wicked. I listen to them over and over again at work even though I have almost 2,000 songs on my iPod.
#5- I'm afraid to call strangers on the phone, but generally have no problem striking up a conversation with one at the store or on the street.
#6- Every morning when I'm getting in my car, I look into the sky to see Orion. I don't know why, but I have to see it every day. It makes me happy, almost like he's watching over me. Maybe I like it so much, because the freckels on my upper left arm form the same constellation.
#7- Rosie the Riveter is my favorite icon. I have a Rosie lightswitch plate in my craft room.
There! I'm done. I'm not tagging anybody, but if you want to do this you can.

Jen! It was a different Jen, but I'm glad you did it! I didn't even know you had a blog, I've only seen your livejournal - I really loved the tribute you did to your mom, that was beautiful!
